Dr.Chap Clark
As a former pastor of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, CA, a professor and vice provost at Fuller Seminary, and a 15-year leader on Young Life staff, Chap has given his life to the encouragement and empowerment of young people and those who work with and for them.
A well-respected researcher and scholar, Chap has given his life to the well-being of young people as he equips organizations and individuals to have a greater understanding of millennials and Gen Z. Through March 2018, Chap served as professor of Practical Theology and Youth, Family, and Culture at Fuller Theological Seminary. Additionally, he served seven years as Vice Provost at Fuller, where he was responsible for regional campuses and strategic initiatives. Before teaching, Chap was on Young Life staff for 15 years as an Area and Regional Director. Other notable positions Chap has held include: Senior Editor of YouthWorker Journal, Senior Pastor at St. Andrew’s, a Sojourner contributing writer and “Red Letter Communicator,” a consulting producer for a reality television production company, and currently President of two nonprofit organizations. The first is ParenTeen™, which helps adults to understand and respond to the developmental needs of adolescents and emerging adults. The second is Institute for Ministry Leadership, which equips local congregations to create a unique leadership institute for recent college graduates. Chap coaches, consults, speaks, trains and encourages communities, schools, parents, churches, and businesses in his roles with IML and Parenteen. He is also the author/co-author of 25 books, including the award-winning Hurt 2.0: Inside the World of Today’s Teenagers, Sticky Faith, Deep Justice in a Broken World, and Adoptive Church.
Chap and his wife Dee, L.M.F.T. and equine-assisted psychotherapist (www.healingreins.com), have three grown children, five grandchildren, and live in Gig Harbor, WA.

Scott Cody
An accomplished leader, consultant, and educator in the field of family ministries. With years of experience, Scott is currently serving as the Minister of Family Ministries at St. Andrew’s, where he provides leadership to the department and mentorship to students and their parents. His expertise also extends to Small Groups, where he leads a dedicated team that inspires families, couples, and friends to build deeper relationships with each other and with Christ.
Scott’s academic credentials include a B.A. from Azusa Pacific University, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Seminary, reflecting his passion for continuous learning and professional development. Scott’s doctorate is in practical theology with an emphasis in youth, family, and culture. He has studied under Dr. Chap Clark since 2015, partnering with Dr. Clark in various leadership and mentoring endeavors, including work with the nonprofit Parenteen and assisting in the launch of the Institute for Ministry Leadership.
Throughout his career, Scott has established himself as a leader and mentor in his field, providing consulting services to organizations and individuals. He is dedicated to helping people achieve their full potential and reach their goals, both personally and professionally. With his expertise and commitment to excellence, Scott continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those he serves.
